The Tectonic necklace

The Tectonic necklace is the star of the collection. It has been a labour of love and is inspired by the term ‘organised chaos’. It looks like chaos with the plates sitting at unique angles but the component parts are actually created in a repeated pattern of six plates on the bottom layer and then finished with two on the upper level.

It should be worn both in the daytime and when on a night out.

It has been made from over 1 metre of 2mm sterling silver square wire. The wire cut into 152 ‘ingots’ of differing lengths and soldered into 19 clusters which are attached by jump rings to give the necklace movement. The two layers create a lovely height and weight to the piece.

The necklace is 45cm.
