Silver and gold gem ring

My client wanted a version of a diamond set ring but using gold instead. This silver and gold gem ring is a more unusual design and pretty unique.

The ring comprises of  two D shape sterling silver rings soldered together and I set the 9 carat gold ‘gem’ using the same technique as setting a cabochon gemstone.
